A navigational aid marking the reef at the entrance to Muck is out of position. As a result, service to Muck will remain liable to disruption or cancellation until the aid has been repositioned.

An amended timetable will operate on Saturday 30 March, 28 September, 5, 12 & 19 October due to daylight restrictions at Canna and Sunday 11 August to accommodate Small Isles games. Please see here for more information.

A82 CORRYCHURRACHAN, NIGHTTIME ROAD CLOSURES WITH AMNESTIES
Sunday 21st April to Friday 3rd May 2024

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will be undertaking essential carriageway resurfacing works on the A82 Corrychurrachan. It will be necessary to close the A82 trunk road in both directions each night from the evening of Sunday 21st April to the morning of Friday 3rd May, a total of 10 nights. No work will be undertaken on Friday or Saturday nights. The road will be closed each night between 20:00 to 06:00. Amnesty periods will be in place where work on site will be temporarily suspended and vehicles will be escorted through site at: 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, 12am, 2am and 4am. The road closure will be removed out with working hours, however a 30mph speed limit and warning signs will remain in place.

Pre-purchase your travel on this route – Foot passengers can now pre-purchase tickets for this route online, prior to arriving at port, or even just prior to boarding. You’ll be purchasing an open ticket for a chosen departure date, valid for the season in which you've purchased it – find out more

If you are taking a vehicle, you must have a permit to travel (see timetable for more information), and travel should be arranged with the Mallaig office.


Turn Up and Go and Bookable route online purchases - If you have purchased tickets online as a group or for any number of travel companions, for use on any of our Turn Up and Go or Bookable routes, the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to both legs of your journey. If you are unsure if all members of your group are travelling together, please complete separate transactions online.
